In our clinic we carry out various patient education activities. We regularly conduct diabetic clubs, hypertension clubs, thyroid clubs, etc. Patients are invited in groups, preferably on sundays or any holiday and lecture is given on particular topic followed by discussion, question answers. We also conduct medical camps at regular interval like diabetes, thyroid, cholesterol testing. In some sessions few specific investigations are done to diagnose complications of diabetes. We know if patients understand the disease well and are clear with myths and facts then only it can be controlled well.
